Clotxada

The “Clotxada” is one of the most traditional acts and that most people are attached to the Major Feast of Vandellòs: the Popular Clotxada. Within the framework of this gastronomic event, held in Plaza Drs. Gil-Vernet (with the medieval tower as the backdrop of this scenario), distributed 300 shells, as explained by Francesc Rodell, the president of the Center Cultural, Sporting and Recreative of Vandellòs (CCERV). This is the local entity that organizes the Feast with the other local entities and the patronage of the City in town of Vandellòs and the Hospitalet de l'Infant.

In this way, the village's neighbors, the other towns of the municipality and other nearby populations, breakfast what the peasants once ate to take forces and return to the countryside: a partially empty bread of crumb and filled with food made on the bull (herring or sausage, tomato, onion, a good rage of oil and salt).
